A collection of Nina Beier's performance sculptures, which trouble the line between life and its image, and draw attention to the fragility of living under the relentless regime of time.
Anti-ageing is performed within the installation of Swiss Institute’s exhibition Pavilion de l’esprit nouveau, a "house of the future" exhibition taking the form of a quasi-domestic environs. Audiences will experience a series of Beier’s performances, taking place as though naturally in situ in a future living space. In a context that is both luxuriant and oriented towards the future, Beier choreographs scenes that question what it means to be a living thing.
