Wyatt Kahn (b. 1983, New York, New York) is known for physical paintings that draw on the relationship between painting and sculpture and the tension between abstraction and representation. This creates a combination of sophisticated visual language where the object's interplay and construction become subject.
Kahn’s work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions at institutions including Contemporary Art Museum, St. Louis (2015); LAXART, Los Angeles (2015); Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas (2014); and Saatchi Gallery, London (2014). He received his BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2006 and his MFA from Hunter College in New York in 2012.
