Ryan Gander

Ryan Gander’s (b.1976, Chester, England) eclectic output defies categorization, encompassing a range of media that presents wittily inconclusive narratives and “in-jokes” about art, culture, and the artist’s personal experiences.

His work has been exhibited widely, at Australian Centre for Contemporary art, Melbourne (2015); Artspace, Sydney (2015); The National Art Trust, London (2014); Ordrupgaard Museum, Denmark (2014); Hayward Gallery, London (2014); Centre Pompidou, Paris (2013); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2012); CCA Wattis Institute, San Francisco (2012); the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, (2010); and Performa 07 (2007), among others.
