Jesper Just (b. 1974 Copenhagen, Denmark) uses film and installation as strategies in his art-making to create works that address complex issues through open-ended visual narratives.
Just has works in over twenty-five museum collections internationally. His work has been presented at National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Seoul (2014); Venice Biennale, Venice (2013); Kunstmuseum Bern, Bern (2013); and Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn (2008), among many others. In 2005, Just’s commission True Love is Yet to Come inaugurated the first Performa Biennial in New York.
