Heather Phillipson

Heather Phillipson (b. 1978, London, England) creates multi-sensory environments through layers of sculpture, video, text, and live voiceovers, weaving her audience through ideas and narratives that splinter and evolve in their unfolding.

Both an artist and a published poet, Phillipson’s work has been exhibited widely, at institutions including Whitechapel Gallery, London (2015); OCT Contemporary Art Terminal, Shanghai (2015); Serpentine Gallery, London (2015); Tate Britain, London (2014); Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2014); Institute of Contemporary Art, London (2014); and Kunsthalle Basel, Basel (2012) among many others.
