Francesco Vezzoli

Francesco Vezzoli (b. 1971, Brescia, Italy) addresses the inherent instabilities of truth, language, and identity through his work, drawing from popular media such as advertising and film to frame his investigations.

His work has been exhibited at many institutions including: MoMA PS1, Long Island City (2014); Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (2014); Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York (2007); Venice Biennale, Venice (2007); Tate Modern, London (2006); and Fondazione Prada, Milan (2005), among others.
