Fadlabi (b. 1975, Sudan) is an artist who works with painting, texts, and performance, emphasizing cross-disciplinary approaches to art making. In 2008, Fadlabi founded an artist-run platform One Night Only, a gallery in Oslo that shows a new artist every Monday. His work has been shown at venues including Tate Modern, London (2015); Kunsthall, Oslo (2014); UKS, Oslo (2014); Bergen Assembly, Bergen (2013); and The Museum of Contemporary Art, Oslo (2012), among others. Upcoming shows of his work will be presented at Sharjah Biennial 11, Sharjah (2016); Munch Museum, Oslo (2016); Temporary Gallery, Cologne (2016); Nile Sunset Annex, Cairo (2016); Al Riwaq, Manamah (2016); the Saudi Arts Council, Jeddah (2016); Darat Al Funun, Amman (2016); and Townhouse, Cairo (2016).
