Edgar Arceneaux

Edgar Arceneaux (b.1972 Los Angeles, California) creates drawings, installations, and films that interweave complex arrangements of social and cultural events, examining the relationships between their disparate histories.

He has exhibited at Orange County Museum of Art (2015); Shanghai Biennial (2014); The Studio Museum in Harlem, New York (2013); Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, Australia (2012); The Museum of Contemporary Art, Detroit (2011); Lentos Kunstmuseum, Museum of Contemporary Art, Linz, Austria (2006); and The Kitchen, New York (2005), among many others.
