Chimurenga is a South African publication and collective founded in 2002 by Nigerian writer and journalist Ntone Edjabe.

Taking its name from the Shona word for "revolutionary struggle", Chimurenga pursues a pan-African perspective through a range of projects and initiatives that take the form of publications, editorial programs, artist resources, and online literary archives, among others. Their most recent project is the Chimurenga Chronicle, a quarterly gazette that intervenes with the coverage of current events and perceptions of development and progress across the African continent.
